Transportation
The two closest airports are San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and San José International Airport (SJC). Public transportation is available from San Francisco International Airport to the Palo Alto Caltrain station: take BART to the Millbrae station and then switch to the Caltrain going to Palo Alto station. Likewise, there is SamTrans Bus Service. Prearranged car services (limo or airport shuttles) are usually cheaper than taxi, which can easily exceed $100.
***Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday. Complimentary “Event” parking passes will be available at the registration desk to use for Monday/Tuesday.***
Driving Directions/Parking
Highway 280 North or South
• Take the Sand Hill Road exit, head east
• Turn right on Stock Farm Road
• Go past Oak Road
• Make the next left‐hand turn (see photo)

From Bayshore US Highway 101 North or South
• Take the Embarcadero Road/West exit
• Follow Embarcadero Road for about two miles
• Cross El Camino Real, after which the road LKSC becomes Galvez Street
• Turn right at Arboretum Road
• Turn left on Sand Hill Road
• Turn on Stock Farm Road
• Make the next left‐hand turn (see photo)
• Follow directions for “All” below

• Turn left into the second parking structure entrance
• Drive up to the roof of the parking structure where Event Parking is
• Find the parking attendant
• Correctly scratch the permit and place it on your dashboard

Rains Apartment (single room): apartment accommodations consisting of 2 or 4 bedrooms. Bathrooms are shared between two bedrooms (located off common area). Kitchen included. $87.15 per person/per night.
Studio 2 (single room): studio apartment accommodations combining living and sleeping quarters that include a full bed, kitchen and a private bathroom. $103.93 per night.
